The Data TLV Summit in Israel is the single most biggest, largest, most amazingest annual summit in Israel for data enthusiasts, made by the community, for the community. The summit is taking place on November 2, 2023, and I will be delivering my most popular session there: Development Lifecycle Basics for DBAs!
The Data TLV Summit is essentially the “next generation” of the well-known “SQL Saturday” community events in Israel. Starting with 2022, this annual event changed its name to “Data.TLV Summit”.
Even though “TLV” is an abbreviation for “Tel Aviv”, the summit itself is not actually taking place in the city of Tel Aviv, but in a nearby city called “Rishon Le-Zion”. That’s actually a good thing because attending large events in Tel Aviv tends to be an expensive nightmare of inconveniences (the traffic and the parking, ugh!). So, Rishon Le-Zion is a very good alternative.
Data TLV Summit 2023 will be taking place in the Cinema City complex in Rishon Le-Zion, which is located in a large cinema mall with multiple big-screen movie halls.
The Cinema City complex is located in the new industrial zone of Rishon Le-Zion. It’s usually very accessible and features a very large parking lot… Recently there has been a lot of construction nearby that often caused disruptions in traffic. But I don’t expect it to be too bad by the time the summit takes place. There’s still time, and I’m optimistic 😊.
As I said, the session that I’ll be delivering is “Development Lifecycle Basics for DBAs“, which is the first part in my CI and CD with SSDT series, and the most popular one.
